About a week ago, one of my friends came over to my house, and he told me that he was having some trouble.  I asked him what was going on, and he told me that his car had broken down not too far down the road, and he didn’t have breakdown cover.  I asked him what he wanted me to do, and he told me that he would love it if he could get a ride back to his place, and possibly some cash to pay for the tow truck.  I told him that I could give him the ride, but I couldn’t give him the cash.
