Ordinarily, an application letter is always attached with a résumé stating personal details regarding the applicant and with much emphasis on the job or work experience he has had. This is stereo-type format which is not really applied  when it comes to an attorney resume for what is important is the credential of the applicant as a member of the bar which is evidenced by the certification from the Supreme Court that he is a legitimate member of the legal profession.  However, for the sake of formality and for the record he can state how far he has gone with his experience in the legal arena.
