Altruistic values in the magic shop business have always been highly regarded in the development of my ethical and moral growth.  If nothing else, compassion simply compels me to offer my assistance to those in need.  However, purely altruistic deeds are hard to define as even the most selfless act may be followed or initiated with the knowledge of the self-satisfaction that would follow.  Ultimately, I strive towards altruistic ideals in the belief that my efforts will be dually returned by others.  I wish to live in a society in which communication and cooperation are standard.  I believe altruistic acts nurture and strengthen such a society through the very basis from which they are derived.
