There are many things in this life that are not very fun, but I’m pretty sure that divorce is the worst. Well, okay, maybe torture in an Iraqi prison would be worse, but not for the heart. When I hired my divorce attorneys in Sacramento, I really thought it was the end of the world… the end of my world anyway. I was a mess and rightfully so. I’d lost everything that I once thought was important and I didn’t know who I was anymore. My husband was gone, my security was gone, and my good memories seemed swallowed up in darkness as well. It was awful, but I guess things could have been worse. Things could always be worse.
