I have been in the magic business for a few years now. I know there are a lot of things that I have to learn, so I am trying to make sure that I learn from the best. I just saw a show by Randy Charach the other day, and I think he is the best magician I have ever seen. I just want to learn a few of the things that he knows. If I could learn some things from him, I know that I could improve my show a lot. Maybe then I will get more people to come. 

We used to have a dog named Fudge and she lived up to her name. If there was chocolate anywhere, she would find it. One night I came home late and heard her whining. This weekend I had a chance to go and visit my brother and his wife. They have a beautiful home in Maryland. Look for a different problem. Sometimes there is a different problem to solve that will make the first one irrelevant. For example, if you are looking for a way to get more customers for a business, you might drop that and see how you can make more money with the customers you have, or get the same customer volume with less advertising money. Solving either one of these problems accomplishes the most relevant underlying goal, which is to make more profits. Another example: a doctor needs more space in the waiting room. Maybe a better problem to solve is the need for patients to wait so long.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints (sometimes known as the Mormon Church), as it is know today, was once called The Church of Christ. Mormon history indicates Missionaries were sent out to different areas of the east, and after a rapid growth in Kirtland, Ohio, and to avoid the constant persecution, the church moved to Kirtland, Ohio. According to Mormon history they built a temple in Kirtland but after a few years the persecution grew to a point where they were driven out of the city. The Church moved to Missouri and Nauvoo, but it wasn’t until they moved to Utah where they finally found peace, where the church headquarters currently are.
