A first aid kit should always be handy in the event of an emergency. You never know when you are going to come across a car accident or someone bleeding. Yet, if you don’t have the proper first aid supplies, your kit won’t be of much use. Any well stocked kit will have a variety of bandages, dressings and gauze pads. Also, it should include various medications such as aspirin and antibiotic ointment. Remember to include a space blanket, cold compresses and a heat pack. For safety purposes, you will  want to include such things as latex gloves and masks to protect yourself while treating the injured. Instruments such as scissors and tweezers are very useful also. Don’t forget to include a first aid book as you may need to refer to it.
