We have been thinking about purchasing an electric fireplace. There are many brands out there. I recently read the charmglow electric fireplace review and was very impressed with this brand. The feature I like the best is that they use a holographic image to create the flame. That means if you want to have fire in the summer, but don’t want the extra heat, you can just turn on the appearance of the flame and leave the heat off. Also, you can just turn the heat on and leave the flame off. What a great idea!
