AT&T’s sales boosted by iPhone
October 30, 2008 7:30 am TechnologyIf AT&T wants to remain the largest and most successful mobile phone company out there in the U.S., they better hope that they remain the sole providers of the Apple iPhone. According to iPhone News reports, AT&T has seen their sales increased due to the iPhone. In addition to increased sales, they saw an increase in their net profits due to new subscriptions and iPhone sales. Although the iPhone 3G is one of the most expensive phones out there on the market, AT&T still sees sales of the iPhone increasing constantly. In another report, of all the iPhones they sell, about 40% of those were from consumers who had switched just to get the iPhone.
